Update #009

Did you know Alicia keys was singing about a real city?? Anyway, heres wonderwall

This is a little mid e-mail I don't want to overthink it, because it is really to just say - I've been in NYC doing a summer residency at SVA and we show our work on the 7th of august in an open studios, so if anyone on here is in the area, please do come along and see. I don't really get to sit in this art headspace so wholeheartedly and I've loved it, maybe even coming to terms with the term 'artist'. So here are the details:

Wednesday 7th August5 - 8pm@ SVA, 133 West 21st StreetNew YOIK City

Come and get one of MY business cards! And come and see all of the cOncEptUAl art work I have created

  • How to start a cinema How insane, but totally logical, that there is a full on 'tutorial' to starting your own independent cinema. I'd love to start a cinema, but its that sort of pipe dream that I think that because I love going to the cinema and I like the sense of micro communities, I'd love to run a cinema. But I do also think its a CRIME when a town doesn't have a cinema (I'm sure I'm outing myself as a city slicker saying that).

  • Little Troop This got shared in slack and I think has been on a couple people's minds ever since, certainly its been on mine. Really great work and a very good portfolio site too.

  • I used to be Funny - Movie Trailer I'm a BIG Rachel Sennott fan, so I'm always excited by another film for her and this looks like a great one! You know I always like to slip in a movie trailer

  • Ragnar Kjartansson - The Visitors This is an out of the blue link, but I truly think about this artwork a lot, ever since I saw it maybe like 4 years ago. Not really sure why as well, its quite simple. Anyway I saw the vinyl at the new exhibition at 180 Studios, Reverb, and was amazed it had a record release and just thought I'd share if people haven't seen it
