Heres the skinny:

I made a new website for anyone who plays guitar or who has ever looked up tabs and I dedicated February to a bit of early spring cleaning so to say and have actually been working through some old projects that I still really like and making sure they don't decay on the internet. So that being said, this is the 

GREATEST HITS EDITION 🎶 ðŸŽ¸ ðŸ¤˜

I have redone Kinegram my site for making analog animations! And also my Watch Better Films site and even my old old school AI Spy has finally got working and modern again. Now you can't say fairer than that.

With Ultimate-guitarx (pronounced Ultimate Gee Tarx, any association to any other website is pure coincidence) I wanted to tackle an annoying reality of monetisation making websites terrible especially when its essentially open source content. So this is the product, pretty slick, pretty nifty.

Also this is me giving out the man of the match award at a recent Hampton and Richmond FC game, complete with no context, but it really makes me smile.

TabsOS / UltimateGuitArx

Spread my bet on the name for obvious reasons, but I finally got to do a site where the mechanic is that you can add a 'x' to the url of any ultimate-guitar.com URL and it takes over on the site I built instead. You shouldn't have to be bombarded with ads and bad user experience to look up guitar tabs. Lets see how long it lasts though...ultimate-guitarx.com 

AI Spy

A stone cold classic (if you worked with me 6 years ago) back from the dead with a nice shiny new look to it. And more importantly it worksThis is single player I Spy, you take photos from around your room and then computer vision determines whats in those photos to play I Spy with you. You have to think a little bit like a machine to answer though...aispy.io 

Kinegram

This is my little niche site that weirdly is one of the most used sites I've made (makes you think doesn't it). You can make these amazing 'moiré animations' which are like gifs in real life.Watch my demo of it on a video here and then make your own on the site. Watch Better Films

This site is meant to playfully 'bully' you into choosing a great film to watch. The idea being is that you can choose from genre or director, but they are all populated with directors that are considered geniuses. The work may not all be that, but its about digging into the crates of greatness.You get 3 suggestsions and 'thats it'*.films.jthaw.club*pro tip, just refresh the page when you get your results to try again 

  • A motivational random youtube recommendation I don't really know how recommendations on youtube, but they do seem like group think sometimes, so maybe you've even seen this video already. But weirdly I quite liked it (except when it became anime at the end, soz). Apparently someone called Shuzo Matsuoka

  • Perfect Days - Wim Wenders Anyone who I speak to IRL probably knows how much I go to the cinema, so I don't shout about it as much, but this film is so worth going to see, I really thought it was a joy, so beautiful.

  • File Life Tours This website got posted into my work slack and I really liked it. Its the right level of weird and meaningful to me. In fact, I saw this site and felt like I became corporate, I don't do much weird anymore. I'd love for this year to be a bit weirder
