Oh baby, its been a while. Its not really because this fell by the way side, I just know your inboxes are precious and if I don't have much to say, I don't want to take up space. Because of it though, there is quite a stacked link section at the bottom.

At least everything else in the world is normal, the Queen is fit and healthy, we are going to get a new Prime Minister who will hopefully get things back on track, the pound is stronger than ever and none of that looks like it can change anytime soon.

Zines Zines Zines

I have gotten over a fear of being weird and decided to embrace and I've felt really like zines have been a nice outlet for me. They have a sense of finitude to a project, because they get printed.I'm not sure what to do with them yet, I would like to let them sit on a checkout somewhere for people to buy I guess. But the ones pictured are:- A zine about dating classified ads- A little diary zine about travelling earlier in the year- A mad libs scandal edition, for you to play out your favourite scandals

Band Names

Are you in need of a name for your band? Want it to be a snappy single word? Well, do I have the resource for you. Good friend Jon Ryder was in the exact position and suggested me a great idea to see if I could write a script to create a list of dictionary words that are not being used for a band and I liked the idea a lot so turned it into a site with a lovely throwback aesthetic.Find your band name here 

Burnt Mill x Jon Hopkins

I was lucky enough to be involved with a project that I love all around. I love craft beer and love Jon Hopkins, so getting the opportunity to contribute some generative art for the labels of this special beer was a dream come true. Every label is unique, each a constellation based on the music video for the song with the same name, Luminous Beings.All credit to Josh (Slow Hunch) for masterminding the whole thing, such a great project Check out more info on Jon Hopkin's instagram

  • The Girl Chewing Gum One of mubi's recent-ish film of the days was this short experimental film and its so good. The premise is this feeling that the director is calling all the shots, when actually its just prerecorded footage that he is narrating. Also its like 1950s Dalston which is cool.   • The Web Stalker Not sure if you ever come across things and just don't really understand what you're looking at, but you like the aesthetic. Thats sort of whats happening here.

  • A24 Zine collection Just lovely 'zines'. Im sure its profiting on the idea of what a zine should be, but damn they look beautiful

  • Elliot Ulm - Design Memes As is the case with web content, if you are into design theres a good chance you've seen some of this work shared already, but its really good #relateablecontent that you may lose an hour to scrolling

  • Breakbot Lockdown Mixtape Recent-ish spotify outage got me going back to breakbot's mixtapes on soundcloud and theyre excellent. I imagine some bastardising of the disco genre, but just so good start to finish. Give it a listen on a friday night with a lovely glass of something tasty

  • Causeway film trailer So many good films have been around and are coming out. Have you seen the trailer for Amsterdam?? Looks great. But I am giving a shout out to this one, just because Jennifer Lawrence in an A24 flick, ohh hellllll yah. The other serious A24 film coming out with Paul Mescal in it also looks nice
