I knew I was gown' see you again. Its been a while, hope everyone is doing good as always. I don't know how international this list is, but things are getting pretty exciting in terms of normality in England (but that may be a controversial statement).

I'm also writing this before England play the final of the Euros, but will no doubt send it after, so I will write how they did here: They didn't win

I've had a busy couple of months by accident, with a bunch of MSCHF projects, the 2021 RCA show and a couple other sites launching, so the work I have decided to show case is very WIP stuff over the past year or so that will likely never see the light of day so want to talk about it.

WIP #01 Infallible Memory

A peek at a collection of work I'm making exploring the notion of 'the good old days'

WIP #02 Petrol Stations

I will give up little context for this, but just know that I have cycled round London and taken a photo of nearly every petrol station Zone 1 & 2

WIP #03 Light Wheel

Revisiting the mechanism from my 'drum generates' project, to see if I could make it more versatile. All of those images are real photos I took as long exposures. COOL STUFF

I joined MSCHF

My big news is that I have gone full time with MSCHF. I've worked with them for over year and enjoy every bit of work, so im really excited to take this next step!

Cool links/things

Everything is a Remix Another recommendation from a friend, but incredible mini documentary about culture, creativity and ultimately 'remixing'. Covers everything from music, to film tropes to intellectual property and copyright law. Made me want to have a summer of just copying work that I admire (if you watch it, you'll get it)
GT Maru New-ish micro site from type foundry Grilli Type. Long time fan of their fonts (90% of my projects are set in them) and this new micro site is one of their best. A great example of marketing.
Play the Barcoder Such a cool little installation of a huge 'receipt' and playing it with a barcode scanner
"TURNSTILE LOVE CONNECTION" by TURNSTILE Not seen this kind of thing before, but its a music video for an entire EP. Just shot really well, I love the music too. I see the same vibe from people like Tyler, the Creator or maybe Childish Gambino, where the visuals are more than just an accompaniment to the music, they add to it.
Deerskin by Quentin Dupieux The cinema has been such a source of pleasure for me over lockdown and have watched loads of amazing films (just me on my own sat in the back row babyyyy) and I haven't seen this yet, but will do this week and it looks awesome
